Outpatient Treatment Program

WellBridge San Marcos operates an Intensive Outpatient Program in addition to its inpatient hospital facility. Whether you're transitioning from inpatient hospitalization, or just starting treatment for the first time, the WellBridge team will work with you to develop a plan of care customized to your individual needs.

At the WellBridge Intensive Outpatient Program, people in need of mental healthcare receive a full complement of mental healthcare resources. Patients experiencing a heightened period of mental health distress may attend IOP for several hours per day on several days per week. This period of intensive treatment helps to reduce the severity and frequency of symptoms with the goal of helping patients recover from present issues. Once patients are showing progress, the treatment progressively focuses on maintenance, and the frequency and duration of visits decreases. Patients requiring less intensive treatment attend the IOP center periodically to meet with their therapist, receive medication management, or to take part in other therapies that support their ongoing mental health and recovery.

Program Features:

  • A safe, compassionate environment
