The WellBridge Approach
Innovation in healthcare, maintaining patient dignity, and professional collaboration are the hallmarks of the WellBridge treatment approach. Our experienced multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, medical internists, psychiatric nurses, nurse practitioners, masters prepared therapists, physician assistants, mental health technicians, and support staff work closely together to provide truly individualized care that will address the unique mental, emotional, spiritual, physical, cognitive, and social needs of each patient.
Inpatient Adult Treatment Programs
The inpatient services of WellBridge Healthcare provide compassionate, comprehensive and intensive mental healthcare treatment to adults ages 18 and over, with psychiatric or co-occurring responses. During inpatient treatment, patients will be offered strategies to manage their mental health or addiction issues through a combination of behavioral and holistic therapies, wellness education, individual and group therapy, recreational activities and medication when necessary.
Patients admitted to the Inpatient Mental Health program receive 24-hour supervised psychiatric treatment and crisis support for mental health issues. Emphasis is on identifying crisis symptoms, stabilizing behaviors, identifying environmental supports and increasing the coping skills of each patient.
A customized treatment plan will address the symptoms of a patient suffering from co-occurring psychiatric and substance abuse issues. Dual diagnosis provides treatment for addiction while also addressing the symptoms of the co-occurring mental condition.
The outpatient services of WellBridge San Marcos offer a full complement of mental healthcare resources for adults ages 18 and above with psychiatric or co-occurring responses. Whether transitioning from inpatient hospitalization, or starting treatment for the first time, the WellBridge team will develop an appropriate plan of care customized to the patient’s individual needs.
